Warranty

Lennar publishes a limited warranty with three tiers:

  • 1 year for workmanship,
  • 2 years for mechanical systems,
  • 10 years for structural components.

For warranty-covered issues, Lennar directs homeowners to submit a service request, and describes a centralized customer-care process. The exact coverage is in your purchase documents. Read the warranty booklet before you sign so you know what’s covered and how to file.

Features and Upgrades

Lennar markets an “Everything’s Included” approach, where many features come standard. What’s included varies by community and collection. Ask for the included-features sheet for the specific community, and ask which items would be upgrades. Lennar’s community pages didn’t describe a uniform solar arrangement, so ask how solar is handled at each community.

If You Want Your Own Agent

Lennar’s published policy says:

  • You can use your own agent, but your agent has to be registered at your first interaction with a Lennar employee.
  • Lennar doesn’t pay cooperating broker commissions in all communities.

So if you want representation on a Lennar home, contact your agent before you contact Lennar, and ask how compensation works at that specific community before you commit. If you’d like me to represent you, call me first.
