D.R. Horton, Inc. builds in Menifee, Fontana and Moreno Valley among the communities I track. Its Inland Empire lineup includes gated townhomes in Fontana and three side-by-side communities at Sunset Crossings in Moreno Valley. Several older communities have recently sold out.

Warranty
D.R. Horton publishes a warranty guide for homeowners. Its documents page says claims for major structural defects are handled through Residential Warranty Company, LLC, a third party. D.R. Horton’s public pages don’t lay out its warranty periods for California homes. Ask for the warranty booklet for your community and read the coverage periods before you sign.
Requesting Warranty Service
D.R. Horton’s published process: go to its warranty-request page, enter your ZIP code, select your home’s address and submit the request. The documents page also links to its warranty guides.
Features and Solar
D.R. Horton’s Inland Empire community pages list its “Home is Connected” smart-home package (smart switches, thermostat, video doorbell) and stainless-steel appliances. They don’t describe a standard solar arrangement. Ask each community for its features sheet and solar disclosure: whether the system is included, leased or financed.

D.R. Horton doesn’t publish a broker or agent-registration policy on its website. Before your first visit to any D.R.
