About Solstice
Solstice is the highest-priced of KB Home’s three Compass Pointe communities. It starts at $891,990, compared with $737,990 at Meridian and $546,990 for the townhomes at Equinox. Its plans have three to five bedrooms. KB Home’s page didn’t summarize square footage, baths or garage sizes, so ask for the plan sheet.
KB Home lists a planned pool and cabana, planned parks and picnic areas and a tot lot, and places the community next to the proposed Ontario Grand Park. It also lists “low HOA fees” as a highlight without giving the amount. It cites access to I-15, I-10 and Highway 60.
What to Ask
- Plan sizes and which homes are move-in ready.
- HOA dues: the exact monthly amount.
- Special taxes (Community Facilities District / Mello-Roos) for the lot.
- Solar: lease or purchase, and the cost.
- Schools: the assigned schools for the specific address.
